Gripseal is a hand applied anti-skid surfacing that
provides a durable, high performance, high visibility, waterproof wearing
surface.
Grip seal comprises a
solvent free modified polyurethane resin system that cures by chemical reaction
and which is designed to be dressed with high PSV graded calcined bauxite
aggregate, or natural aggregates depending upon skid resistant requirements.
The material is a
very hard wearing anti-skid treatment designed to cope with extreme stressed
areas. It may be applied to asphalt, concrete and steel and is suitable for many
types of application where road safety is of priority, e.g. road junctions,
approaches to pedestrian crossings, ghost islands and bus lanes.
The system may also
be used to provide visual delineation of trafficked areas and for highlighting
special needs i.e. disabled parking bays, corporate logos, bus stops and the
like.
