Coldmac
Proscreed
is a new
concept in crack repair systems designed to repair cracks and joints up to 40mm
wide. It is a 2-part screed-applied system, suitable for all types of bituminous
surface course and road – including roundabouts, bends and areas treated with
high friction surfacing. Its skid resistance is designed to equal or exceed the
surrounding surface, and it will maintain a high skid resistance throughout its
long life.
Part A
is a specially formulated polymer bitumen blend incorporating high PSV aggregate
and fibres, which fills and seals the crack or joint, and acts as a stress
absorbing medium for the high friction surface layer (Part B).
Part B
is a thermoplastic resin blend incorporating calcined bauxite or other high PSV
aggregate, which spans the crack or joint, providing a textured high friction
surface.
During
application of Part B, the screeding temperature allows the two components to
fuse together over the crack area, to give a previously unavailable combination
of flexibility and surface texture retention. The finished repair achieves a
minimum texture depth of 1.5mm and an SRV >60 (>65 for HF grade). |
